One of the hottest upcoming talents in the hip hop music game right now is Gooseman Ma’vealle. Proudly representing the D.M.V., Gooseman grew up in the small town of Norfolk, VA. The close knit communities of this same very town are strong and pivotal to Gooseman’s trajectory through life. Although there was a significant presence of drugs and violence they found a way to come together for the sake of peace and unity. The values gained from his childhood are what got him to music as a means of staying off the streets. His career started on the block where he would freestyle battle others guys of the neighborhood for money. As he continued battling, Gooseman’s skills as an artist really began to develop. So much so that, after winning a major rap contest, Gooseman decided to pursue music professionally. He started drawing inspiration from all of his childhood musical influences such as LL Cool J, Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Nas, and Project Pat just to name a few.

Motivation gained from these musicians as well as his peers are what formulated Gooseman’s signature style of music. He took the aggressive, in-your-face rap style from street rap battles and combined them with well produced beats that include piano melodies and elements of trap music to make magic. A prime example of his incredible work in his club banger “This Year” available on all major streaming platforms. This is a hype, upbeat track that talks about the struggles he has faced over the course of his career. He elaborates on how despite whatever obstacles he was, or currently is, facing he will overcome them and persevere this year.

All in all, things are on the up and up for Gooseman Ma’vealle. He is making waves in the DMW area and expanding beyond that like a wildfire. He just released his new EP entitled “Motivation 101” in June 2020 and is working on a new project called “The Unknown” which is set to release in the last quarter of 2020. Gooseman Ma’vealle hopes that his music can be used as a means to inspire the masses to keep pushing towards their hopes and dreams. As a pioneer of the “M.A.P.” music movement, he strives day in and day out to create music that will (M)otivate (A)ll (P)eople for now and more many years to come.
